The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Alif-Lam-Mim. 1 This is the Book; there is no doubt in it. It is a guide for those who are mindful of God, 2 who believe in the Unseen, and perform the prayer, and expend of that We have provided them; 3 who have faith in what has been revealed to you and others before you and have strong faith in the life hereafter. 4 It is the pious who follow the guidance of their Lord and gain lasting happiness. 5 Indeed, those who disbelieve - it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 6 Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and on their eyes is a covering; and for them is a terrible punishment. 7
