(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised it high and leveled it, 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 and the mountains He set firm, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 upon the day when man shall remember what he has striven, 35 And Hell-fire shall be made apparent in full view for (every) one who sees, 36 Then he who had been rebellious 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 But he who feared to stand before his Lord, and restrained himself from evil desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 What concern do you have to speak about that? 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the Day when they behold it, it will be as if they had lingered but an evening, or, a morning. 46
