Surely, We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, so that you will rule between the people by that Allah has shown you. So do not be an advocate for the traitors. 105 And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 106 And plead not on behalf of (people) who deceive themselves. Lo! Allah loveth not one who is treacherous and sinful. 107 They conceal [their evil intentions and deeds] from the people, but they cannot conceal [them] from Allah, and He is with them [in His knowledge] when they spend the night in such as He does not accept of speech. And ever is Allah, of what they do, encompassing. 108 Here you are - those who argue on their behalf in [this] worldly life - but who will argue with Allah for them on the Day of Resurrection, or who will [then] be their representative? 109 And whoever does a wrong or wrongs himself but then seeks forgiveness of Allah will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 110 He who earns the wages of sin does so for himself; and God is aware of everything and is wise. 111 And whoever commits a fault or a sin, then accuses of it one innocent, he indeed takes upon himself the burden of a calumny and a manifest sin. 112
