Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss. 34 Shall We then make the Muslims like the culprits? 35 What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose! 36 Or have ye a scripture wherein ye learn 37 That you shall have all that you choose? 38 Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge? 39 Ask thou of them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or do they have partners? Then let them bring their partners, if they should be truthful. 41 On the day when it befalleth in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able, 42 Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. And they used to be invited to prostration while they were sound. 43 So leave Me, (O Prophet), to deal with him who gives the lie to this Discourse. We shall draw them little by little (to their undoing) in a way that they will not know. 44 Yet I bear with them, for lo! My scheme is firm. 45 Or is it that [they fear lest] thou ask them for a reward, [O Prophet,] so that they would be burdened with debt [if they listened to thee]? 46 Is the unseen within their grasp so that they write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 and who cried (for help) to his Lord, while imprisoned and helpless inside the fish. Had it not been for a favor from his Lord, he would have been left out in the open, deserving blame for his shortcomings. 49 But his Lord chose him and placed him among the righteous. 50 And lo! those who disbelieve would fain disconcert thee with their eyes when they hear the Reminder, and they say: Lo! he is indeed mad; 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
