In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when the messengers are brought together at the appointed time -- 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 For a known extent. 22 So We proportion it-- how well are We at proportioning (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 On that Day (of Judgment) woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 nor will they be allowed to proffer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
