The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ TaSeenMeem. 1 These are the verses of the Clear Book. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 Had We so willed, We could have sent down unto them a message from the skies, so that their necks would [be forced to] bow down before it in humility. 4 But never fresh remembrance comes to them from the All-merciful, except they turn away from it. 5 Indeed they have denied, so now soon coming upon them are the tidings of what they used to scoff at. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 Your Lord is the Majestic and the All-merciful. 9
