Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the stores thereof. And we send it not down save in appointed measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 It is indeed We Who grant life and cause death and it is We who shall be the sole Inheritors of all. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
