He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away. 1 Because the blind man came unto him. 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 Or that he might receive admonition, and that the admonition might profit him? 4 Now as for him who believes himself to be self-sufficient 5 to a rich man, 6 Though it is no blame to thee if he grow not (in spiritual understanding). 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 And whereas he fears, 9 Him thou neglectest! 10 By no means! Verily it is an admonition. 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 In honored books, 13 Exalted, pure. 14 Written by the hands of emissaries. 15 noble and pious. 16 Perish Man! How unthankful he is! 17 From what has God created him? 18 From a sperm-drop He created him and destined for him; 19 Then doth He make His path smooth for him; 20 Then He causes him to die and be buried. 21 then, He will raise him when He wills. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 So let man just consider his food: 24 how We pour down rain in abundance, 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 And produce therein corn, 27 And Grapes and nutritious plants, 28 olives, dates, 29 Orchards thick with trees, 30 And fruits and fodder,- 31 A provision for you and for your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry shall be sounded 33 That Day shall a man flee from his own brother, 34 And his mother and his father 35 And his wife and his children, 36 on that Day every man among them will have enough concern of his own -- 37 [Some] faces, that Day, will be bright - 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 and veiled with darkness. 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
