The Fig (Al-Teen)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Galaxies (Al-Burooj) before Quraish (Quraish)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

I swear by the fig and the olive, 1 And by oath of Mount Sinai, 2 and by this city (of Makkah), a haven of peace: 3 That We created man of finest possibilities, 4 Thereafter We cause him to return to the lowest of the low, 5 Save those who believe (in Islamic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, then they shall have a reward without end (Paradise). 6 So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense? 7 Is not God the most equitable of all judges? 8
