THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron' 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We left (this blessing) for him among generations (to come) in later times: 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
