And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 And saved them and their people from great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by their desolate habitations in the morning 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
