۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two groups came close to each other, the companions of Moses said, "We will be caught". 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
