And recall what time Musa said unto his page: I shall not cease until I reach the confluence of the two seas, or I shall go on for ages. 60 And when the twain reached the confluence of the two, they forgot their fish, and it took its way into the sea freely. 61 And when they had gone further, he said to his assisting youth; 'Bring us our breakfast; we are worn out from our journey' 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Musa said unto him: shall I follow thee that thou mayest teach me of that which thou hast been taught a directive knowledge. 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Musa (Moses) said: "If Allah will, you will find me patient, and I will not disobey you in aught." 69 He said, "Then if you follow me, do not ask me about anything until I make to you about it mention." 70
