Blessed be He who, if He wills, can assign you better things than these; gardens underneath which rivers flow, and He shall assign for you palaces. 10 They deny the Hour. For those who deny that Hour, We have prepared a blazing fire. 11 When it beholdeth them from afar, they shall hear it raging and roaring. 12 And when they are cast within a narrow space of it chained together, they would plead for death. 13 Pray not that day for one destruction, but pray for many destructions! 14 Say: Is that (doom) better or the Garden of Immortality which is promised unto those who ward off (evil)? It will be their reward and journey's end. 15 There will they have whatever they wish, and there abide for ever." This is a promise incumbent on your Lord which will certainly be fulfilled. 16 And on the Day whereon He will gather them and that which they worship beside Allah and will say: are ye the ones who sent astray these My bondmen; or strayed they themselves from the way? 17 They will submit, “Purity is to You – it was not rightful for us to appoint any Master besides You; but You gave them and their forefathers usage to the extent that they forgot Your Remembrance; and they were indeed the people who destroy themselves.” 18 (The idolaters will be told): "Your gods have refuted your assertion. You can neither avert (your doom) nor receive any help. We shall make the wicked among you taste of severe punishment." 19 All the Messengers whom We sent before, certainly, ate food and walked through the streets. We have made some of you (people) a trial for the others. Would you then exercise patience? Your Lord is All-aware. 20
