And when your Lord called to Moses, saying: 'Go to the harmdoing nation, 10 “The nation of Firaun; will they not fear?” 11 'My Lord' he replied, 'I fear they will belie me 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 And they have a charge (of murder) against me. So I fear that they will kill me." 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 And thou didst that thy deed which thou didst; and thou art of the ingrates. 19 Said he, 'Indeed I did it then, being one of those that stray; 20 and I fled from you because I feared you. But [since] then my Sustainer has endowed me with the ability to judge [between right and wrong,] and has made me one of [His] message-bearers. 21 And [as for] that favour of which thou so tauntingly remindest me - [was it not] due to thy having enslaved the children of Israel?" 22 The Pharaoh asked, "Who is the Lord of the Universe?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord and Cherisher of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- if ye want to be quite sure." 24 Pharaoh said to those around him, "Did you hear?" 25 [And Moses] continued: "[He is] your Sustainer, [too,] as well as the Sustainer of your forefathers of old!" 26 (Pharaoh) said: 'Surely, the Messenger who has been sent to you is mad!' 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 Said [Pharaoh]: "Indeed, if thou choose to worship any deity other than me, I shall most certainly throw thee into prison! 29 Moses said: "Even if I were to bring a Clear Sign to you?" 30 [Pharaoh] answered: "Produce it, then, if thou art a man of truth!" 31 So he cast his staff, and behold, it was a serpent manifest. 32 Then he uncovered his hand and it was sheer white to the onlookers. 33

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
