In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Read (Prophet Muhammad) in the Name of your Lord who created, 1 He created man from a clot. 2 Recite: And thy Lord is the Most Generous, 3 who, by the pen, taught the human being: 4 Teacheth man that which he knew not. 5 By no means: Verily man exorbitateth. 6 because he thinks that he is independent. 7 Lo! unto thy Lord is the return. 8 Have you seen one who prevents 9 A votary when he (turns) to pray? 10 What is your opinion – if he were upon guidance, 11 or if he commands others to maintain piety!? 12 Seest thou if he denies (Truth) and turns away? 13 Knoweth he not that Allah doth see? 14 And yet indeed if he does not desist We shall drag him by the forelock, 15 the lying, rebellious forehead! 16 Then let him call upon his henchmen! 17 We also shall call the infernal guards. 18 No, indeed; do not obey him! Prostrate and come nearer (to Allah). ۩ 19
