Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya-Sin. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Indeed you, [O Muhammad], are from among the messengers, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 (The Qur’an is) Sent down by the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We will certainly put iron collars on their heel's which will come up to their chins, so that they will not be able to raise their heads. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 It is the same whether you have warned them or you have not warned them, they do not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
