The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Striking Calamity - 1 What is the terrible calamity! 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He will live a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 He is in the lap of one that abases. 9 How will you comprehend what that is? 10 A flaming fire! 11
