Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
By the moon, 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the morning when it appears, 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning to mankind, 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 Except those of the right hand 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 concerning the sinners, 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 "Till death overcame us." 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 running away from a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 Nay! But they fear not the Hereafter (from Allah's punishment). 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 So, whoever wills may benefit from it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
