Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, by the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 alike to every one of you, who want to go forward or hang back. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those on the right side. 39 In gardens they will ask one another 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 and they shall reply, "We were not among those who prayed; 43 nor did we feed the destitute. 44 And we have been wading with the waders. 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 until death approached us". 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not mind unless Allah please. He is worthy to be feared and worthy to forgive. 56

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
