And a sign to them is the dead earth: We give life to it and bring forth from it grain so they eat of it. 33 and We made therein gardens of palms and vines, and therein We caused fountains to gush forth, 34 that they might eat of its fruits and their hands' labour. What, will they not be thankful? 35 Holy is He Who created all things in pairs, whether it be of what the earth produces, and of themselves, and of what they do not know. 36 A token unto them is night. We strip it of the day, and lo! they are in darkness. 37 how the sun moves in its orbit and this is the decree of the Majestic and All-knowing God; 38 And the Moon,- We have measured for her mansions (to traverse) till she returns like the old (and withered) lower part of a date-stalk. 39 It behoves not the sun to overtake the moon, neither does the night outstrip the day, each swimming in a sky. 40 Another sign for them is that We carried their offspring in the laden Ark. 41 And We have created for them the like of it in which they board. 42 and [that,] if such be Our will, We may cause them to drown, with none to respond to their cry for help: and [then] they cannot be saved, 43 Unless it be a mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment for a while. 44 And when it is said to them: "Beware of that which is before you (worldly torments), and that which is behind you (torments in the Hereafter), in order that you may receive Mercy (i.e. if you believe in Allah's Religion Islamic Monotheism, and avoid polytheism, and obey Allah with righteous deeds). 45 Never does any Sign of their Lord come to them, but they turn away from it. 46 and when they are told, "Give to others out of what God has provided for you," those who are bent on denying the truth say to the believers, "Why should we feed those whom God could feed if He wanted? You are clearly in error!" 47 They also say: 'When will this promise be, if what you say is true' 48 They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves! 49 And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return. 50
