The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Ta, Seen, Meem. 1 These are revelations of the Scripture that maketh plain. 2 You will perhaps kill yourself with anguish because they are not accepting the faith. 3 If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility. 4 Whenever there comes to them any fresh warning from the Merciful, they always turn their backs on it: 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Most surely there is a sign in that, but most of them will not believe. 8 Your Lord is surely mighty and merciful. 9
