We indeed created man; and We know what his soul whispers within him, and We are nearer to him than the jugular vein. 16 When the two angels meet together, sitting one on the right, and one on the left, 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 And the agony of death cometh in truth. (And it is said unto him): This is that which thou wast wont to shun. 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 [It will be said], "You were certainly in unmindfulness of this, and We have removed from you your cover, so your sight, this Day, is sharp." 22 His companion attendant will say, "I have here his record ready." 23 'Cast, you twain, into Gehenna every froward unbeliever, 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ His companion (Satan devil)] will say: "Our Lord! I did not push him to transgress, (in disbelief, oppression, and evil deeds) but he was himself in error far astray." 27 [And] He will say: "Contend not before Me, [O you sinners,] for I gave you a forewarning [of this Day of Reckoning]. 28 “With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.” 29
