[O Men!] Are you more difficult to create than the heaven which He has built, 27 On high hath He raised its canopy, and He hath given it order and perfection. 28 And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. 29 And after that He spread the earth. 30 He extracted from it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your herds. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 The Abode will be Hell-Fire; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 what have you to do with the mentioning of it? 43 Towards your Lord only is its conclusion. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The day they see it, it will seem they had stayed in the world but only an evening or its turning into dawn. 46
