Say, [Prophet], "I am only a warner. There is no god but God, the One, the All-Powerful, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 from which you turn away. 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 and when I give it proper shape and blow My spirit into it, bow down in prostration to him," 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Except Iblees; he was arrogant and became among the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He (satan) replied: 'Respite me my Lord till the Day of Resurrection' 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: I do not ask you for any reward for it; nor am I of those who affect: 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
