The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 Master of the Day of Judgment. 4 You alone do we worship, and You alone do we turn for help 5 (Lord), guide us to the right path, 6 The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray. 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
