Al-Aadeyaat

The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn, 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And verily, he is violent in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 and that which is in the chest is brought out, 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
