If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 We did not teach him (to wit, the Messenger) poetry and it does not behove him. This is none but an Admonition, and a Clear Book 69 So that he may warn him who is alive and feels, and justify the word against those who do not believe. 70 Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters? 71 And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat. 72 And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful? 73 Yet they take (for worship) gods other than Allah, (hoping) that they might be helped! 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 So let not their speech, then, grieve you (O Muhammad SAW). Verily, We know what they conceal and what they reveal. 76 Has the human being not considered that We have created him from a drop of fluid. He is openly quarrelsome. 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He Who has made for you the fire (to burn) from the green tree, so that with it you kindle (fire). 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 His affair, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: be, and it becometh. 82 Wherefore hallowed be He in whose hand is the governance of everything, and unto whom ye shall be returned. 83
