۞ And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?" 65 A group of the unbelievers among his people said, "You look to us like a fool and we think that you are a liar". 66 He said: "O my people! I am no imbecile, but (I am) a messenger from the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds! 67 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I give you sincere advice. 68 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst you in order that he may warn you? Remember what time He made you successors after the people of Nuh, and increased you amply in stature. Remember the benefits of Allah, that haply ye may fare well. 69 They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allah Alone and forsake that which our fathers used to worship. So bring us that wherewith you have threatened us if you are of the truthful." 70 He said: surely there have befallen you wrath and indignation from your Lord. Dispute ye with me over names ye have named, ye and your fathers, for which Allah hath sent down no warranty? Wait then; I also will be with you of those who wait. 71 And We saved him and those with him by a mercy from Us, and We cut the root of those who denied Our revelations and were not believers. 72

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
