The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta'. Sin. Mim. 1 These are the verses of the perspicuous Book. 2 Perhaps you consume yourself that they are not believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 But there comes not to them a newly-revealed Message from (Allah) Most Gracious, but they turn away therefrom. 5 Now they have denied (the Truth); but there will come unto them tidings of that whereat they used to scoff. 6 Have they, then, never considered the earth - how much of every noble kind [of life] We have caused to grow thereon? 7 Lo! herein is indeed a portent; yet most of them are not believers. 8 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
