Surely Ibrahim was an exemplar, obedient to Allah, upright, and he was not of the polytheists. 120 [for he was always] grateful for the blessings granted by Him who had elected him and guided him onto a straight way. 121 And We gave him Good in this world, and he will be, in the Hereafter, in the ranks of the Righteous. 122 Then, We revealed to you: 'Follow the Creed of Abraham, he of pure faith, he was not among the idolaters' 123 The Sabbath was ordained only for those who differed about it. On the Day of Resurrection, your Lord will decide the differences that were between them. 124 CALL THOU [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer's path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner - for, behold, thy Sustainer knows best as to who strays from His path, and best knows He as to who are the right-guided. 125 And if you chastise, chastise even as you have been chastised; and yet assuredly if you are patient, better it is for those patient. 126 And bear with patience, (O Muhammad) - and your patience is only because of the help of Allah - and do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed by their evil plans. 127 Surely God is with those who are godfearing, and those who are good-doers. 128
