Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf. By the Qur'an glorious, We have sent thee as a warner. 1 In fact, it seems odd (to the pagans) that a warner from their own people has come to them. The disbelievers have said, "It is very strange 2 "What! When we die and become dust, (shall we live again?) That is a (sort of) return far (from our understanding)." 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. With Us is a Record that preserves everything. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a state of confusion. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 And (how) We have spread the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and have grown all kinds of beautiful pairs in it? 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 all this as sustenance for Our servants. And thus We do bring the dead land back to life with water. Such shall be the coming forth (of human beings from the earth). 11 Before them, the nation of Noah, the nation of ArRass belied and so did Thamood 12 And the tribe of A’ad, and Firaun, and the fellowmen of Lut. 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
