"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on thrones (of dignity). 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said, "Have you given me good tidings although old age has come upon me? Then of what [wonder] do you inform?" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said, “Who is it that despairs from the mercy of his Lord, except those who are astray?” 56 Messengers, what is your task?" 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 “Except the family of Lut; we shall rescue all of them.” 59 But not his wife; we have decreed that she will be of those staying behind. 60
