۞ Allah has said: "Take not (for worship) two gods: for He is just One Allah: then fear Me (and Me alone)." 51 And to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is [due] worship constantly. Then is it other than Allah that you fear? 52 And whatsoever of favour is with you is from Allah; then when distress toucheth you, unto Him ye cry out. 53 Then, when He has removed the harm from you, behold! Some of you associate others in worship with their Lord (Allah). 54 So they will deny what We have given them. Then enjoy yourselves, for you are going to know. 55 And they (even) assign, to things they do not know, a portion out of that which We have bestowed for their sustenance! By Allah, ye shall certainly be called to account for your false inventions. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 When the glad news of the birth of their daughter is brought to them, their faces turn gloomy and black with anger. 58 Skulking from the people because of the evil of that which hath been announced unto him: shall he keep it with ignominy or bury it in the dust? Lo! vile is that which they judge! 59 The attribute of evil applies to those who do not believe in the Hereafter, while to God applies the highest attribute, for He is Mighty, the Wise. 60
