AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 And when they had gone further, he said to his assisting youth; 'Bring us our breakfast; we are worn out from our journey' 62 He said, "Did you see when we retired to the rock? Indeed, I forgot [there] the fish. And none made me forget it except Satan - that I should mention it. And it took its course into the sea amazingly". 63 Said Moosa, “This is exactly what we wanted”; so they came back retracing their steps. 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He answered: "You will surely not be able to bear with me. 67 How canst thou bear with that whereof thou canst not compass any knowledge? 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He (Khidr) said: "Then, if you follow me, ask me not about anything till I myself mention it to you." 70
