And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does man not remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By thy Lord, then, We shall surely gather them and the satans; thereafter We shall surely bring them round Hell, kneeling. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: "If any men go astray, (Allah) Most Gracious extends (the rope) to them, until, when they see the warning of Allah (being fulfilled) - either in punishment or in (the approach of) the Hour,- they will at length realise who is worst in position, and (who) weakest in forces! 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who go aright; and ever-abiding good works are with your Lord best in recompense and best in yielding fruit. 76 Note the words of the disbeliever, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he seen the Hidden, or has he made a pact with the Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We shall write down that which he saith; and We shall lengthen for him of the torment a length. 79 And We will inherit of him what he says, and he shall come to Us alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
