He said: O my Lord! Expand my breast for me, 25 And ease for me my affair. 26 And loose a knot from my tongue. 27 so that they may understand me. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 Haroun, my brother, 30 Confirm my strength with him 31 And associate him (with me) in my affair, 32 That we may exalt You much 33 And remember Thee oft. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 Allah said: "You are granted your request, O Musa (Moses)! 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 when We revealed what was revealed unto thy mother: 38 "Saying: 'Put him (the child) into the Tabut (a box or a case or a chest) and put it into the river (Nile), then the river shall cast it up on the bank, and there, an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his shall take him.' And I endued you with love from Me, in order that you may be brought up under My Eye, 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 Go, you and your brother, with My signs, and do not be remiss in remembering Me. 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 [Allah] said, "Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see. 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 Indeed, it has been revealed to us that the punishment will be upon whoever denies and turns away.' " 48 The Pharaoh asked them, "Who is your Lord?" 49 He said, 'Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it.' 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 Moses said: "Its knowledge is with my Lord, recorded in the Book. My Lord does not err, nor does He forget." 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 so eat and graze your cattle. In this there are signs for men of understanding. 54
