Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 and ease my task for me. 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 That they may understand my speech. 28 “And appoint for me a viceroy from among my family.” 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen me through him 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 so that we may glorify You much 33 "And remember You much, 34 You are surely watching over us. 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on thee another time (before). 37 When We inspired unto thy mother that which We inspired, 38 "Cast him into the ark, and cast him into the river, and let the river throw him up on the shore. An enemy of Mine and his shall take him." And I loaded on thee love from Me, and to be formed in My sight, 39 Then your sister followed you, and said (to the people who had retrieved the child): 'Should I guide you to a person who can nurse him?' We thus brought you back to your mother that her heart may be cheered, and she may not grieve. (Remember) when you killed a man We saved you from anguish; and tested and steeled you (in other ways). Afterwards you sojourned for several years with the people of Midian; then you came up to the measure, 40 I chose you for Myself. 41 Go, thou and thy brother, with My tokens, and be not faint in remembrance of Me. 42 Go both to Firon, surely he has become inordinate; 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 They both submitted, “Our Lord – indeed we fear that he may oppress us or deal mischievously.” 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 “Therefore go to him and say, ‘We are the sent ones of your Lord, therefore let the Descendants of Israel go with us, and do not trouble them; we have indeed brought to you a sign from your Lord; and peace be upon him who follows the guidance.’ 47 it has been revealed to us that punishment shall overtake him who rejects it and turns away!'" 48 (Firon) said: And who is your Lord, O Musa? 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 He said: What then is the state of the generations of old? 51 He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a book, my Lord errs not, nor does He forget; 52 He it is Who spread the earth for you; and made in it paths for you, and sent down water from the sky, and then through it We brought forth many species of diverse plants. 53 Eat (for yourselves) and pasture your cattle: verily, in this are Signs for men endued with understanding. 54
