“O Noble Messengers, eat good clean things, and do good deeds; I know all that you do.” 51 And verily this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me. 52 But they (mankind) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its tenets. 53 But leave them in their confused ignorance for a time. 54 Do they think that by all the wealth and offspring with which We provide them 55 have no other purpose except to help them in acquiring material benefits? No indeed. But they do not understand. 56 Those who tremble with fear of their Lord; 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 And those who give that which they give with hearts afraid because they are about to return unto their Lord, 60 it is these who hasten to do good works and vie in so doing with one another. 61 And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly. 62 Yet their hearts are oblivious of this; and besides, they are busy with other things, 63 until We seize with Our chastisement those of them that are given to luxuriant ways. They will then begin to groan. 64 We shall tell them, "Do not cry for help on this day; you will receive none from Us". 65 Our revelations had certainly been recited to you, but you turned your backs to them 66 [and,] impelled by your arrogance, you would talk senselessly far into the night." 67 Then have they not reflected over the Qur'an, or has there come to them that which had not come to their forefathers? 68 Or is it that they were unaware of their Messenger and were therefore repelled by him for he was a stranger to them? 69 Or do they say: "There is madness in him"? Nay, he has brought them the truth - and the truth do most of them detest! 70 But if the truth were in accord with their own likes and dislikes, the heavens and the earth would surely have fallen into ruin, and all that lives in them [would long ago have perished]! Nay, [in this divine writ] We have conveyed unto them all that they ought to bear in mind: and from this their reminder they [heedlessly] turn away! 71 (Do they disbelieve because) you asked them for payment? The reward that you will receive from your Lord is the best. He is the best Provider. 72 And certainly, you (O Muhammad SAW) call them to a Straight Path (true religion Islamic Monotheism). 73 And most surely those who do not believe in the hereafter are deviating from the way. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed the distress which is on them, they would obstinately persist in their transgression, wandering in distraction to and fro. 75 We struck them with torment, but they did not submit themselves to their Lord, nor did they make themselves humble 76 until We open before them a gate of harsh punishment and then they will be dumbfounded. 77
