Say: "O my Lord! if Thou wilt show me (in my lifetime) that which they are warned against,- 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 We have certainly the power to make you see what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We are Best Aware of that which they allege. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I take refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Satans, 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 "So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks, and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected. 100 Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 the fire will scorch their faces, and they will abide therein with their lips distorted in pain. 104 (They will be told), "Were Our revelations not recited to you and did you not call them lies?" 105 They shall say, 'Our Lord, our adversity prevailed over us; we were an erring people. 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say: "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me! 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say: How many years did you tarry in the earth? 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: "You stayed there only a moment, if you knew. 114 Do you think We created you for nothing, and that you will not return to Us?" 115 So, exalted be Allah, the True King! There is no god but He, the Lord of the Great Throne. 116 Whosoever calls upon another god, other than Allah, having no proof his reckoning will be with his Lord. The unbelievers shall never prosper. 117 Hence, [O believer,] say: "O my Sustainer! Grant [me] forgiveness and bestow Thy mercy [upon me]: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!" 118
