▼ 25 The Statute Book
Al-Furqaan 2 of 6
Blessed is He Who, if He will, will assign thee better than (all) that - Gardens underneath which rivers flow - and will assign thee mansions. 10 Yet they reject the Hour as untrue. We have prepared a Fire for those who deny the Resurrection. 11 When it shall come into their sight from a distant place, they shall hear its vehement raging and roaring. 12 And when they are cast into a narrow place in it, bound, they shall there call out for destruction. 13 It will be said “Do not pray this day for one death – and pray for many deaths.” 14 Ask them "Is this (Fire) better or the everlasting Garden which has been promised to the God-fearing righteous people?" which will be the recompense of their good deeds and the final destination of their journey 15 wherein they will get everything they desire and wherein they will dwell for ever. This is a promise which your Lord has taken upon Himself to fulfil. 16 And on the day when He shall gather them, and whatever they served besides Allah, He shall say: Was it you who led astray these My servants, or did they themselves go astray from the path? 17 They will answer: "Glory to You. It was not worthy of us to seek any protector other than You. But You allowed them and their fathers a life of ease until they turned oblivious of the Reminder. They were a people impenitent. 18 God will say (to the idolaters), "Your idols have rejected your faith. You cannot avoid their rejection nor can you find any help. Anyone of you who commits injustice will be made to suffer a great torment." 19 We never sent before you apostles who did not eat food and walk the market places. We make some of you the means of trying the others. So will you persevere? Your Lord is always watching. 20
