When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 "The people of the Pharaoh: will they not fear Allah?" 11 He said: "O my Lord! I do fear that they will charge me with falsehood: 12 "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for Harun (Aaron) (to come along with me). 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 So go ye twain unto Fir'awn and say: verily we are the apostles of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 (Saying): Let the Children of Israel go with us. 17 Said Firaun, “Did we do not raise you amongst us, as a child? And you spent many years of your life among us!” 18 You spent many years of your life among us and then you committed that deed of yours. You are very ungrateful indeed." 19 Replied [Moses]: "I committed it while I was still going astray; 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 Now this is the favour that you tauntingly remind me of: that you enslaved the Children of Israel!" 22 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" 23 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, if you can believe." 24 (Pharaoh) said unto those around him: Hear ye not? 25 Said Moosa, “Your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers preceding you.” 26 Fir'awn said: verily your apostle who hath been sent unto you is mad. 27 'He is the Lord of the East and the West' said he (Moses), 'and all that is between them, if you could understand' 28 Said he, 'If thou takest a god other than me, I shall surely make thee one of the imprisoned.' 29 Musa (Moses) said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?" 30 Fir'awn said: forth with it then, if thou art of the truth-tellers. 31 So [Moses] threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it was white unto the beholders. 33
