When Your Lord told Moses to go to the unjust people of the Pharaoh 10 The people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh). Will they not fear Allah and become righteous?" 11 : He said: "O Lord, I fear that they will deny me. 12 And my breast straitens, and my tongue is not eloquent, therefore send Thou to Haroun (to help me); 13 They have charged me [with a crime] for which I am afraid they will kill me." 14 He said: Nay, verily. So go ye twain with Our tokens. Lo! We shall be with you, Hearing. 15 "So go forth, both of you, to Pharaoh, and say: 'We have been sent by the Lord and Cherisher of the worlds; 16 ‘That you let the Descendants of Israel go with us.’” 17 (Pharaoh) said (unto Moses): Did we not rear thee among us as a child? And thou didst dwell many years of thy life among us, 18 Yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates." 19 (Moses) replied: "I did do that and I was in the wrong, 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord bestowed on me wisdom and made me one of the sent ones. 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Said Pharaoh, "And what is the Lord of the worlds?" 23 Moses said, "Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, if only you would be convinced." 24 The Pharaoh said to the people around him, "Did you hear that?" 25 He said: your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers. 26 Pharaoh said, "This messenger who has been sent to you is surely possessed!" 27 He said, 'The Lord of the East and West, and what between them is, if you have understanding,' 28 Said he: If you will take a god besides me, I will most certainly make you one of the imprisoned. 29 [Moses] said, "Even if I brought you proof manifest?" 30 Pharaoh said: "Then bring it if you are truthful at all." 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo, it looked white to the beholders. 33
