۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus it was, but We made the Children of Israel inheritors of such things. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 67 truly, your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 68
