۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 and they have enraged us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 So We expelled them from gardens and fountains, 57 their treasures and a noble station. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 So the Firaun’s people followed them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 (Moses) said: "By no means! my Lord is with me! Soon will He guide me!" 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And We made the other party approach thither. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily herein is a sign; but most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
