۞ We revealed to Moses: "Set forth with My servants by night for you will be pursued." 52 Then Fir'awn sent unto the cities callers: 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 who have enraged us greatly. 55 and we are a host on our guard' 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 Then they followed them at the sunrise; 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa (Moses) and all those with him. 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
