The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: if thou desistest not, thou shalt surely be of those stoned. 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 therefore, judge decisively between me and them; and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
