The people of Lot accused the messengers of lies. 160 When their brother Lot said to them: "Will you not take heed? 161 I am for you an honest Messenger. 162 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me: 163 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 164 What! do you come to the males from among the creatures 165 "And leave those whom Allah has created for you to be your mates? Nay, ye are a people transgressing (all limits)!" 166 They said: "If you cease not. O Lout (Lot)! Verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!" 167 He said: "I am one of those who abhor your practice. 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 We therefore rescued him and his entire family. 170 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 And We rained on them a rain. So ill was the rain on those warned? 173 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not Muslims. 174 And verily! Your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. 175
