In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

YA SIN. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 pursuing a straight way 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
