۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 besides God, and show them the way of hell. 23 And detain them, for they will be questioned." 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They will say: "No, you were the ones who would not believe. 29 And we had over you no authority, but ye were a people exorbitant. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 For we had led you astray. In fact we ourselves were astray." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 This is how We deal with the criminals. 34 Indeed they, when it was said to them, "There is no deity but Allah," were arrogant 35 And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet? 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Behold, you will indeed taste grievous suffering [in the life to come,] 38 And you shall not be rewarded except (for) what you did. 39 But the bondmen of Allah, the sincere ones 40 [in the hereafter,] theirs shall be a sustenance which they will recognize 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 In gardens of pleasure 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 No headiness there shall be therein, nor shall they be therewith inebriated. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 Then they will turn to one another and question one another. 50 One of them will say, "I had a companion who asked me, 51 who would say, "Are you a confirmer? 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 Then, he will look and see him in the midst of Hell. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 “And were it not for the munificence of my Lord, I too would have been seized and brought forth (captive)!” 57 He will ask his companion, "Did you not say that there would only be one death 58 except our first death, and shall we not be punished' 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 For the like of it should the workers work. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 And once again: Verily, the blazing fire is their ultimate goal 68 Indeed they found their fathers astray. 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 And assuredly We sent among them warners. 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 74
